Stephanie Ehrlich

Stephanie Teaches: voice and piano.

Stephanie Ehrlich began her career as a professional musician at the age of 8
performing in her dad’s band “Too Cool” in her hometown of Clive, IA. In 2018
Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz Voice from the University of
North Texas. During her time in Texas she gained professional experience as a studio
recording artist, private lesson instructor, and gigging musician. Stephanie has had a
number of notable career highlights including performing in the 8-piece Grammy
Foundation Jazz Choir in 2014 where she walked the red carpet at the Grammy
Awards, touring throughout Southern California performing at official Grammy events,
and recording an album at the world-renowned Capitol Studios. As a member of the
award-winning UNT Jazz Singers, Stephanie received the title of “Outstanding Soloist”
from Downbeat Magazine, and shared the stage with prestigious jazz artists such as
Bobby McFerrin and Sara Gazarek.

While studying vocal pedagogy at UNT Stephanie fell in love with the intricacies of
technique and healthy vocal production. After teaching for several years in Texas,
Stephanie moved to Minnesota and joined Twin Cities Music School. A typical lesson with Stephanie will include technique instruction with a combination of music theory, style, and performance fundamentals relating to all popular genres of music. Above all else, she strives to connect with every student, regardless of age or ability, to create a shared safe space for vocal discovery and
growth, while experiencing the joy in music.
